Budweg Caliper was a leading company in Europe in the refurbishment of used brake calipers, and the company developed, manufactured, refurbished, and sold brake calipers for the free aftermarket. The customer base primarily consisted of large spare parts wholesalers and brake system suppliers. The largest markets were Scandinavia, Germany, and England. Budweg Caliper had a wide product range with over 4,000 calipers.

The company had its headquarters in Odense, where significant investments had been made in new production facilities. It was also here that the majority of the employees worked.
